Prep Freshman Basketball

It was to get out to a game last week and I was able to shoot the Georgetown Prep Freshman basketball team.  I was happy with the action, great job GP Freshman. The winter has been difficut to get to many games and need to get back in the shooting grove.

Christmas is Tournament Time

The was my fourth year covering the Father George National Jesuit Christmas Classic.  Great games and love to see all these teams from around the country.   Thanks for the team from Georgetown Prep for including me as part of this tournament.

Inside Lacrosse's Top Photos of 2011

Inside Lacrosse posted their top photos of 2011 this week and good to see two of mine made the list.

Cleveland Rocks...

It is always good to try different photo events and something out of your comfort zone.  My daughter invited me to "help" her shoot the AP Tour at the House of Blues in Cleveland and this was my first live event shoot.   Only stood out a bid trying to shoot a punk rock concert, but I think I was getting the hang of it by the time the forth band hit the stage. Trying to cature these bands jumping around and bad light takes some skill.   Check out more of Cara's concert images here. 

 

Second cover this month - well, kind of..

Some good coverage of my images in the December issue of Inside Lacrosse.  IL also used one my UMD images on the cover of the 2012  Face-Off Yearbook.  Not really a cover shot, but close :)

Well it is not Sports Illustrated, but good to see my photo used on the November issue of DerBayseische.  

Mites on Ice

These games brought back a lot of great memories with MYHA, both coaching and my all my son’s games.  It was fun to be back on the bench at MYHA, and it seemed like yesterday    spending my Saturday at Cabin John Ice Rink.
