Bad Light - Good Light

My day started in College Park with UNC vs. Maryland at noon and then to Baltimore to catch the second game of the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Classic with UVA vs. JHU. The MD-UNC game was at noon and I was struggling with finding the right settings and the right position on the field. The second game in Baltimore was much better with the later afternoon sun allowing for some great shots. 

Face-Off Classic - Baltimore

This is the sixth year of the Face-Off Classic and it was good to be back in Baltimore to shoot some of the classic college lacrosse powers.  Game 1 was Princeton vs. North Carolina, game 2 featured UVA vs Cornell and the final game was JHU vs UMBC.


I am trying to figure out what I need to do this season to take my photos to the next level.   But you get to the game and all the action is in the middle of the field for that perfect action ship and sometimes I have a hard time to see the bigger view of the game.   This is harder than it looks and I hope this season grows with me.   Here are are few from the weekend.   

Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Classic

Just finished shooting the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Classic at M and T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.  This event is usually the start of the lacrosse season for me.   I have shot this event for several years and this event is first class, IL, ESPN and the promoters do a great job of making this event a run great each year.   Great weather, great press box and lunch spread at MandT.
