LAXHair Day

Always a great LAX hair day when shooting the girls game.   Spent Saturday at St. Stephens and St. Agnes high school in Alexandria VA to help cover and photograph the 27th annual Spring Fling for Inside Lacrosse magazine.   Great opportunity to shoot some of the best teams in the county and my 5th time at this event, one event I look forward to each spring.  

Spring Fling at SSSA

The Spring Fling girls tournament at St. Stephens and St. Agnes high school in Alexandria has become one of the staples of my spring schedule.   Great fun covering 6 games with some of the top-ranked high school teams in the US.   Bonus this year was the visiting U19 national team from England.   Some coverage from Inside Lacrosse here and the complete game coverage here.  

Then new .com for the f/stop crowd

As was inevitable, the more common and generic top level domains (ie. .com, and .net) are becoming scarce as more and more domains are registered each day.  Earlier this year, ICANN (the group in charge of managing domain names) released the “.photography” domain name.  I felt lucky to be one of the first to stake-out this new domain and was able to register LAX.photography and LACROSSE.photography.   Stay tuned and look-out for my new web site dedicated to lacrosse photography.
